Camp Butterfly Girls International is a non-profit registered with the state of Georgia. Founded in 2010 by Jamilah Shakir with just 10 girls, we have expanded to serve over 800 girls and their families to date.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of girls worldwide. Our objectives are to improve the self-esteem, good decision making skills, and reduce risky behavior.
We provide therapeutic intervention, coping skills, and life skills for girls ages 8-12 and their families. Ninety-percent of participants attend on scholarship.
